So I went to a honda store, and ordered the part I needed. An air fuel mixture screw is a special screw on an engines carburetor that controls how much air mixes with the fuel. 1/4 turn on the throttle between gears and it is starving for something . Thanks for the info,I found what looks to be a screw.But like you said it looks like a D screw but I can't see it that good.I have been using a mirror an flashlight. To my surprise, they were out 4.5 turns! I'm sure you have heard of "drag pipes". They have no effect on mixture above 1/4 throttle. I wish I were in Maui right now, its around 20F here right now. You'll see the ends of the throttle cables grabbing onto a disc, which twists the throttle plates open in the carbs. Fuel supply issue, is not a problem for those bikes with the auxilory tank. Enjoy! Running a rich fuel mixture causes the engine to run with more fuel than it needs to operate efficiently.
